Dancing in Pixels

Experience the magic of dance and creativity in an interactive gallery installation that combines cutting-edge virtual reality (VR) dance films with motion-activated projection displays. Step inside and become part of a unique artistic journey where your movements create digital art in real time! Admission is free for DC residents!​​

Dancing in Pixels is being funded, partially or fully, through the District of Columbia Executive Office of the Mayor - Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development. This 100-day activation is designed to inspire audiences across generations through the intersection of dance and technology.

Community Impact

Dance and creativity are fundamental to every community. Dancing in Pixels harnesses technology to make dance accessible to youth and adults, offering an interactive space to experience artistic expression.

Dancing in Pixels is a project of CityDance Productions, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
